5.45x39mm ammunition is a cartridge developed by the former Soviet Union and adopted by the country's Armed Forces in 1974. Considered an intermediate cartridge, the round features a rimless bottleneck steel case that measures 39.82mm in length. Many believe the 5.45X39 may be a better performer than the NATO round 5.56.
The cartridge 5.45x39 is used for sport and target shooting through semi-automatic carbines around the world. This TulAmmo cartridge keeps its qualities under various climatic and weather conditions independent of the season and at the temperature range from -50°? to +50 °?. The cartridge case is bottle-shaped with nonprojecting flange. The cartridge complies with CIP requirements.
